Health surveillance monitors the effect of work on peoples health.

We can undertake most types of surveillance testing as required by Health and Safety legislation. We have a team of occupational health advisers who are able to visit your premises to carry out the necessary tests. We provide all the documentation including a Health Record form which you will need to keep showing the dates on which the tests have been performed.

The need for health surveillance should arise out of the risk assessment for the exposure. Health surveillance is undertaken where there is a residual risk of a health effect.

The tests required will depend on the particular exposure and the risk assessment but some examples of exposures and frequently performed tests are as follows:

Work Exposure Common Health Risk Test Regulation
